September 2017 blog recap!

I know I’ve said it before but I’m going to say it again…you guys are seriously awesome and blew us away with the launch of Everyday Harts! The first 30 days since launching our blog far exceeded any expectations we had.

We’ve enjoyed updating the blog, coming up with ideas of what to write about and actually writing the posts. We didn’t expect our posts to have the impact or resonate with people the way they have. I honestly thought to myself, I’ll write a few posts and hopefully my family will read them, that would make it worth it.

Boy was I wrong. NEVER did I expect to get over 10,000 page views in the first month!

Along with working on Everyday Harts I also had the privilege of collaborating with a lot of amazing companies, as well as continue to brand rep for a few of our favourite shops.

For those of you who aren’t aware of what a ‘collaboration’ is…it’s simply partnering up with a company and taking high quality photos using their product and posting the pictures on social media/blog to help promote their brand.

I started out doing brand repping with my son Grayson (like collaborating, I would receive clothing for Grayson and photograph him in them and send the photos to the companies as well as post on my social media). With the birth of the blog, the repping has slowly started to evolve into collaborations which has expanded into items other than baby clothes.

In just the last 30 days I have received $2096.02 worth of product from businesses through collaborations! I have received everything from clothes, shoes, hats and bedding to watches, a vacuum, sunglasses etc.

I have absolutely fallen in love with working with more and more brands and companies.  It’s so much more than just receiving ‘free’ product, it’s about building that partnership and helping to promote those businesses who work so hard doing what they love. It’s so much fun being able to showcase the products of these amazing businesses!

Within the last month I was also able to do my first paid collaboration which I didn’t expect to happen for a while, if ever!

I am truly loving the blog life and am so excited to see what the future will hold!

Stay tuned for my blog report at the beginning of every month!
